"From the beginning I felt welcomed, seen, heard, and most importantly acknowledged for the symptoms I was experiencing. I had painful eczema on my hands (oozing blisters, extreme dryness, dry flakiness, skin cracked opened if I moved my hands, and very limited motion), anxiety, fogginess, fatigue, bloating after every meal, and very painful periods that really affected by day to day. Within a month I saw major improvement in all those areas. Eczema is almost gone now (5 months later), I sleep so soundly. Joann is the most compassionate, friendly, understanding, encouraging practitioner I have ever had. When I went into the Natural Healing center I was skeptical that I would get help because at that particular moment in time I was let down by my own doctors trying to give me more of what was causing the problem. I found myself in the position of yet again being vulnerable and telling someone how my illness has affected me... I was struggling with topical steroid withdrawal (red skin syndrome) on 90 percent of my body because of steroid use. I came in with raw red skin, could barely move my arms and hands and neck. I was depressed had sinus problems. It was painful to walk and do everyday things... Joann has given me a glimpse of what my life was like in less than 2 months. She’s given me the ability to be able to hug my kids again.
